BI Community at U-M
Users of Business Intelligence at U-M can communicate with one
another in various ways.
- Business Intelligence Council The BI Council represents users at every level, with a focus on providing management information to deans, directors and executive officers and to foster the Business Intelligence Community.
- Business Intelligence Community of Experts (BICE) A network of people actively involved in BI at U-M, who will work with the BI Council to encourage sharing of Business Intelligence expertise. The BICE will foster collaboration across campus and strengthen relationships between schools and colleges, MAIS, and central offices.
- Business Intelligence Competency Community (BICC) Proposal [PDF]
The BICC Proposal describes the planning for the BICC and the goals of its members to establish BI at U-M, by identifying, promoting, and supporting the use of BI for strategic management and decision-making throughout the organization.

Seventy members of the BI Community were recently surveyed for 2009 Activity Planning purposes. The results of the survey are summarized in the report.
